Vaccines are an integral part of the epidemic preparedness toolbox. Expediting vaccine development against newly emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases and access of these life-saving vaccines to populations in need is essential for containing epidemics, and even more so, pandemics. Collaborative efforts are indispensable for reaching this goal and it is the intention of this hub to promote networking and exchange of knowledge in vaccine development.
